Salaty - Islamic companion4.0.2

Salaty is a complete Islamic companion: prayer times you can rely on, the athan on time, the whole Qur'an with tafsir and 17 reciters, Hisn al-Muslim, and the qibla - in one app with no ads, no accounts and nothing tracked.

PRAYER TIMES YOU CAN RELY ON
. Five calculation methods: Umm Al-Qura, Muslim World League, ISNA, Karachi, and the Egyptian General Authority of Survey
. Shafi'i and Hanafi Asr calculation
. 1,664 cities across 70 countries, or let your location pick your city for you
. A live countdown to the next prayer on the home screen, with sunrise alongside the five
. The times are worked out on your iPhone, so they are right with no connection at all

ATHAN, IQAMA AND REMINDERS
. Three athan voices - Abdul Basit, the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, and the Sacred Mosque in Makkah - with a separate call for Fajr
. Switch the athan on or off for each prayer on its own
. A spoken announcement five minutes before every athan
. An iqama reminder after the athan, with the gap set per prayer to match your masjid

THE FULL QUR'AN
. The 604-page Madani mushaf, typeset page by page in the KFGQPC Uthmanic script
. Tafsir al-Muyassar for every ayah, bundled in the app and read with no connection
. 17 reciters, including Abdul Basit, Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi, As-Sudais, Alafasy, Al-Ghamidi, Al-Muaiqly and Muhammad Jibreel
. Verse highlighting that follows the recitation and turns the page with it
. Repeat one ayah, a passage you choose, or the whole surah; change the speed; set a sleep timer
. Control the recitation from the Lock Screen
. Download any surah to listen offline - each one tells you its size first
. The recitation steps aside for the athan and carries on afterwards
. Five reading backgrounds - traditional, paper, sepia, dark and navy - with page zoom and keep-the-screen-on
. A two-page spread when you turn an iPad sideways
. Khatma progress, a daily page goal, a day streak and your best streak
. Save any ayah with a note and a label: memorising, reflect, study, du'a, favourite
. Select the words you want with a tap, copy an ayah, share it as text or as an image
. Search the text of every ayah, or by surah name in Arabic or English, or by a reference like 2:255
. Browse by surah, juz', hizb, page, what you saved, or what you read recently

AZKAR - HISN AL-MUSLIM
. All 133 chapters in 17 categories, in Arabic with an English translation
. A tap counter on every dhikr that remembers where you stopped and starts fresh each day
. Listen to a chapter recited aloud
. Search the categories, the chapter titles, and the text of the azkar themselves

QIBLA AND NEARBY MOSQUES
. A compass showing the qibla with the Kaaba marked, the distance to Makkah, and how accurate the reading is - with plain instructions when it needs calibrating
. Nearby mosques on a map and in a list: distance, directions, phone, website, opening hours and the mosque's own prayer times where they are known

HIJRI CALENDAR
. Hijri and Gregorian months side by side, with today marked in both
. Tap any day to read it in both calendars at once
EVERY TIME YOU OPEN IT
. A zekr from the morning or evening azkar, a du'a, and a hadith from an-Nawawi's Forty - a different one each time
. Where you stopped reading, one tap away

WHAT NEEDS A CONNECTION
Prayer times, the Qur'an text, the tafsir, the azkar, the qibla and the Hijri calendar all work with no internet at all. You need a connection for recitation you have not downloaded, the azkar recordings, the nearby-mosques map, and the temperature on the home screen.

GOOD TO KNOW ON IPHONE
. The alert plays the first 29 seconds of the athan - the longest sound iOS allows any app. Tap the alert to hear the rest.
. Leave Background App Refresh on for Salaty so it can keep scheduling your alerts while you are away from the app.

BUILT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE
. Arabic and English, each with the layout it deserves
. No ads. No accounts. Nothing tracked.
. Free.
